Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas with dark spots for maximum sweetness and flavor.
