- 8 ounces (225 g) premium white chocolate baking bar
- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 2 cups (250 g) powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons (15 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) pure vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter on medium speed until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Pour in the cooled white chocolate and mix on low speed until fully combined.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed. Then, beat on medium until smooth.
- Add heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat on medium-high for another 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
- If needed, adjust the consistency by adding more cream (1 teaspoon at a time).
Notes
Ensure butter is softened to room temperature for best results. White chocolate can seize if overheated, so melt it gently.
