  • 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups (250 g) powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons (15 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) pure vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter on medium speed until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Pour in the cooled white chocolate and mix on low speed until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed. Then, beat on medium until smooth.
  5. Add heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat on medium-high for another 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  6. If needed, adjust the consistency by adding more cream (1 teaspoon at a time).
