Ingredients

  • 1 8-inch whole wheat or flour tortilla
  • 1/2 cup canned San Marzano tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts
  • 4 slices pepperoni use halal turkey pepperoni if needed
  • 1 ball burrata cheese or 1/3 cup torn mozzarella
  • 1-2 handfuls baby arugula
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste like sambal oelek
  • 1/3 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs basil, oregano, and thyme
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place the tortilla on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Spread the crushed tomatoes over the tortilla, leaving a border, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle provolone cheese, artichokes, and pepperoni evenly over the sauce.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  • Add burrata on top while hot and toss arugula with olive oil and salt, scattering it over the pizza.
  • Mix honey with chili paste and drizzle over the pizza.
  • Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, slice, and serve hot.
