Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil perfect for high-heat cooking
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil adds a rich, nutty flavor
  • 2 lbs ribeye steak trimmed of fat and sliced into thin strips
  • ½ cup liquid aminos or coconut aminos soy sauce alternative
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup optional, adds sweetness
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 large crowns broccoli chopped into florets
  • 3 stalks green onion chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients - Slice the ribeye steak into thin strips and chop the broccoli and green onions. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger, setting them aside for later.
  • Step 2: Heat the Oils - In a large wok or skillet, heat the avocado oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the toasted sesame oil.
  • Step 3: Cook the Beef - Add the sliced ribeye steak to the pan in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes without stirring, then stir-fry until browned, about another 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 4: Stir-Fry the Vegetables - In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds, then add broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Step 5: Combine Everything - Return the beef to the pan, drizzle in liquid aminos and maple syrup (if using). Stir and cook for 2 more minutes to coat everything with sauce.
  • Step 6: Garnish and Serve - Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
