Ingredients

For the Dip:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to preference
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni
  • 6 ounces sliced olives
  • 1 cup green pepper diced

Instructions

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the room-temperature cream cheese with dried basil, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix until everything is well combined and smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of your pie dish. This will be the first layer of your 7 Layer Pizza Dip.
  • Carefully spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
  • Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the pizza sauce layer, followed by the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  • Now, layer on the pepperoni, sliced olives, and diced green pepper, distributing them evenly across the top.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the dip for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. If you want to speed things up, you can also microwave the dip for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  • Once your 7 Layer Pizza Dip is out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. Serve it warm with your favorite dipping options, and watch it disappear!

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • 9-inch Pie Dish
  • Oven or microwave
  • Scooping utensils

Notes

  • Let the cream cheese sit out for at least an hour before mixing; this makes it easier to blend.
  • For a gourmet touch, try adding fresh herbs like chopped basil or parsley as a final garnish.
  • If you're short on time, feel free to use store-bought pizza sauce to speed up the prep.
  • This dip can easily be doubled for larger gatherings; just use a bigger dish!
