Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 6 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for crispiness)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (adds depth of flavor)
  • BBQ seasoning (suggested: Dan'O or McCormick Grill Mates Sweet & Smoky Rub)

Instructions

Directions:

  • Start by rinsing the chicken thighs under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. This helps achieve that crispy skin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ seasoning. Add the chicken thighs and toss them until they are well-coated in the marinade. For the best flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step is essential for achieving that crispy skin.
  • Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the marinated chicken thighs in a single layer in the basket. Ensure there is space between each thigh to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Cook the chicken thighs in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each bite is juicy and flavorful. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
