Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces diced potatoes cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 spray air-fryer safe cooking spray optional

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by washing and peeling your potatoes if desired. Cut them into 1/2-inch cubes to ensure even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This helps to create that crispy texture right from the start.
  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If desired, lightly spray them with air-fryer safe cooking spray for additional crispiness. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • After 15 minutes, check the potatoes. They should be golden brown and crispy on the outside. If they need a bit more time, continue cooking in 2-minute increments until they reach your desired level of crispiness.
  • Once your air-fryer diced potatoes are cooked to perfection, remove them from the basket and serve immediately.
