Ingredients

  • 4 ounces breakfast sausage fully cooked and crumbled
  • 4 large eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • 2 tablespoons red bell pepper diced
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray for coating

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer. Start by preheating your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Air Fryer Basket. Spray the air fryer basket generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Step 3: Mix the Ingredients. In a mixing bowl, combine the slightly beaten eggs, crumbled breakfast sausage, shredded cheese, diced red bell pepper, chopped green onion, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Stir gently until well incorporated.
  • Step 4: Pour the Mixture into the Basket. Carefully pour the egg mixture into the prepared air fryer basket, spreading it out evenly.
  • Step 5: Cook the Frittata. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set and center is firm. Check with a toothpick.
  • Step 6: Cool and Serve. Remove from the air fryer, let cool for a few minutes, cut into wedges, and serve warm.
