Ingredients

  • 16 ounces baby Bella mushrooms cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by cleaning the 16 ounces of baby Bella mushrooms. Rinse them under cold water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms with 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt. Toss everything together until the mushrooms are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook them for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once the mushrooms are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot as a side dish.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Spatula or tongs

Notes

  • For a vegan option, ensure the soy sauce is labeled vegan.
  • Swap olive oil for sesame oil for a nutty flavor.
  • Use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder for a more robust taste.
