Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsItalian dressing
  • 1/4 cupWorcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cuphot sauce
  • 12 chicken drumsticks

Instructions

Instructions

  • Combine 2 cups Italian dressing, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, and 3/4 cup hot sauce in a bowl or large measuring cup and stir to blend.
  • Place 12 chicken drumsticks in a large zip-top bag or a nonreactive container. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, seal the bag (or cover the container), remove excess air, and toss or turn to coat all pieces.
  • Refrigerate the sealed bag or covered container for at least a few hours or up to overnight to marinate.
  • When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 400°F if your model recommends preheating.
  • Remove the drumsticks from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Pat the drumsticks lightly with paper towels if there is excess liquid.
  • Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between pieces for air circulation; cook in batches if they do not fit without crowding.
  • Cook at 400°F for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, open the basket and flip each drumstick (or shake the basket) to turn the pieces.
  • Reduce the air fryer temperature to 325°F and continue cooking the drumsticks for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Confirm the drumsticks are done—internal temperature should reach 165°F—or cut into the thickest part to ensure juices run clear. Let the drumsticks rest a few minutes before serving.

Equipment

  • Philips XXL Air Fryer

Notes

Notes
If you want spicier chicken, toss cooked chicken in additional hot sauce.
I use Frank’s Red Hot Sauce or Crystal Hot Sauce.
I cooked the chicken in a Philips XXL Air Fryer –
