In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame or olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the butter and let it melt.
Add the green onions, chopped garlic, and shallot to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until fragrant.
Increase the heat to high and add the lean ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the bell peppers and broccoli florets. Sauté for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
Add the Thai red curry paste and chili flakes. Mix well to combine the flavors.
While the beef and vegetables are cooking, prepare your noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari or soy sauce and honey. Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetable mixture.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together.
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped Thai or regular basil.
Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions or basil if desired. Enjoy!
