Instructions
Step 1: Sauté the Aromatics - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 2: Brown the Beef - Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef, break apart and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Step 3: Add the Liquids and Seasonings - Pour in beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Add bay leaves and bring to a simmer.
Step 4: Cook the Pasta - Add uncooked elbow macaroni to the simmering sauce. Stir well, cover, and cook for about 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Add Cheese and Serve - Remove bay leaves, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
