Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe avocado peeled and pitted
  • 1 large handful fresh cilantro finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Start by peeling, pitting, and roughly chopping the ripe avocado. Next, finely chop the fresh cilantro and measure out your lime juice, mayonnaise, and salt.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the chopped avocado, cilantro, lime juice, mayonnaise, and kosher salt.
  • Using a fork or whisk, mash the avocado and mix all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Taste your Avocado Sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
