Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjustable to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt until smooth and thick enough to coat.
  • Add the cauliflower florets into the batter and toss until each piece is fully coated.
  • Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While baking, combine the buffalo sauce and olive oil in a large bowl.
  • Once baked and crispy, toss the cauliflower bites immediately in the buffalo sauce mixture.
  • Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up the sauce.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes
