  • 1 cup large curd cottage cheese Provides creaminess and protein
  • 1 cup sour cream Adds tangy flavor
  • ½ cup milk For creamy consistency
  • ½ cup chopped green onions For fresh flavor
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley For garnish
  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt Adds savory depth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Main flavor ingredient
  • Paprika For flavor and color

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  • Step 2: Cook the rice according to package instructions or use leftover rice.
  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, cottage cheese, sour cream, milk, green onions, parsley, salt, garlic salt, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
  • Step 4: Grease a baking dish and pour the rice mixture in, spreading evenly.
  • Step 5: Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and a dusting of paprika.
  • Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Step 7: Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
