Ingredients

For the Salmon:

  • 4 pieces salmon filets 4-6 ounces each
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 lemons thinly sliced
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme or ½ teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill or ½ teaspoon dried plus extra for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • Step 2: Lightly grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Step 3: Place the salmon filets in the baking dish skin-side down and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 4: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, honey, garlic, oregano, thyme, and dill to create a glaze.
  • Step 5: Arrange lemon slices over the salmon filets.
  • Step 6: Brush the glaze over the salmon filets generously.
  • Step 7: Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Step 8: Let the salmon rest, garnish with dill, and serve with lemon slices.
