Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy milk non-dairy option
  • 1 cup coconut milk adds rich texture
  • 1 tsp cardamom seeds adds warm flavor
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg adds depth
  • 1 tbsp espresso beans optional

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure your bananas are ripe for enhanced sweetness. If using frozen bananas, skip the ice.
  • In your high-speed blender, add the 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup of soy milk, and 1 cup of coconut milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the 4 pitted dates, 1 tsp of cardamom seeds, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg to the blender. If using espresso beans, add those as well. Blend until well combined.
  • Taste your smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, add another date. If it’s too thick, add more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Pour your Banana Cardamom Smoothie into glasses. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or banana slices. Enjoy immediately!
