Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup melting chocolate or chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Begin by clearing off a counter space or table where you can work comfortably. Gather all your ingredients and tools to streamline the process.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened salted butter and creamy peanut butter. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  • Gradually sift in the powdered sugar, mixing continuously until fully incorporated, forming a thick, dough-like consistency.
  • Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to help them firm up.
  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add vegetable oil to thin the chocolate.
  • Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring they are fully coated. Return to the parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  • Allow the coated balls to sit at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting.
  • Once the chocolate has set, enjoy your peanut butter balls! Store leftovers in an airtight container.
