Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 pound boudin sausage casing removed

Instructions

  • Begin by removing the casing from the boudin sausage. Crumble the sausage into a skillet over medium heat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through and slightly crispy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Use a spatula to mix everything together until it forms a smooth and creamy base.
  • Once the boudin is cooked, add it to the cheese mixture. Stir gently to combine, ensuring that the boudin is evenly distributed throughout the creamy base.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the dip for about 20-25 minutes or until it’s bubbly and slightly golden on top.
  • Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Pair it with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, toasted bread, or fresh veggies, and get ready for the compliments to roll in!
