Start by trimming the ends of the green beans. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water and set them aside to dry.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the unsalted butter. Allow it to melt completely, swirling the pan gently. Watch as the butter foams and turns golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat once it smells nutty.
Add the slivered almonds to the brown butter in the skillet. Return to low heat, stirring frequently until golden and fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the rinsed green beans along with onion powder, seasoned salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir to coat the beans in the brown butter mixture. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until tender yet crisp.
Once cooked to your liking, remove from heat. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm and enjoy!
