Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 cup Frank’s hot sauce or your favorite wing sauce
  • ½ cup lime juice (freshly squeezed is best)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Step 1: Marinate the Chicken - In a mixing bowl, combine the Frank’s hot sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt. Whisk until well blended. Add the boneless chicken breasts or tenders to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the marinade. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 2: Heat the Skillet - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil. Wait for the oil to shimmer, indicating it's hot enough for cooking.
  • Step 3: Cook the Chicken - Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken in the hot skillet, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Step 4: Rest and Serve - Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Slice or shred the chicken, and you are ready to serve!
