  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper adjust to taste.

Instructions

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). A hot oven is key to achieving that crispy skin we all love.
  • Step 2: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to achieve a crispy skin when cooking.
  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Cajun seasonings, honey, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  • Step 4: Place the chicken thighs in the bowl with the marinade. Use a basting brush or your hands to coat each piece thoroughly.
  • Step 5: In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, add a little oil. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 6: Carefully flip the chicken thighs over so they are skin-side up. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Step 7: Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
