Caramel Magic Cookies Bars

Indulge in these delightful Caramel Magic Cookies Bars with layers of gooey caramel, chocolate, and pecans!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips dark or semi-sweet recommended
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans dry roasted and salted
  • 1 pkg (14 oz) Kraft Caramels
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press firmly into the bottom of the lined baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over the baked crust, then sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans over the top.
  • In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt Kraft Caramels with heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted caramel over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
  • Bake the bars for an additional 25-30 minutes until edges are bubbly and top is golden.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes, then lift out and cut into squares.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.

  • Pack the graham cracker crust tightly to prevent crumbling.
  • Let the bars cool completely for better shape when cutting.
  • Don’t skip the parchment paper lining to make removal easy!
