Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon pickled jalapeño peppers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 10-ounce can Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 1 4-ounce can diced green chilies

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients listed above. Freshness matters, especially with avocados and cilantro, so choose ripe avocados for the best flavor.
  • Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  • Add the cream cheese to the blender for that rich, creamy texture.
  • Pour in the lemon juice, garlic powder, pickled jalapeños, and chopped cilantro to infuse incredible flavor.
  • Add the sour cream to enhance creaminess and balance flavors.
  • Sprinkle in the salt, then add the can of Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies along with the diced green chilies for a zesty kick.
  • Blend everything together until smooth. For a chunkier texture, pulse a few times.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning. You can add more salt or jalapeños if you like it spicier.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
