Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 14-oz can artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 16-oz loaf French bread
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the chopped artichoke hearts, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, sour cream, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir in the melted garlic butter.
  • Slice the French bread in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
  • Spread the creamy artichoke mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the artichoke mixture.
  • Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
