Cheesy Bean Dip

Ingredients

pinto beans
(or two 15 oz. cans)

cream cheese
(block, softened)

sour cream

packet
taco seasoning

salsa

freshly shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Instructions
Begin by draining and rinsing the pinto beans. Mash them slightly in a large mixing bowl.
Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning to the mashed beans and mix until creamy.
Fold in the salsa and half of the shredded cheese, then transfer to a microwave or oven-safe dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Heat in the microwave for 3-5 minutes or bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Notes
