Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  • While the chicken is searing, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese in a bowl. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  • Spread an even layer of the cheese mixture over each chicken breast. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
