  • 2 ounces cream cheese (block style)
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup sugar-free pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
  • 0.5 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 0.5 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 0.5 sweet yellow onion (sliced)
  • Fresh basil (for garnishing)

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese. Microwave for about 30 seconds until melted. Add egg, almond flour, salt, garlic powder, and baking powder. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Step 3: Grease your baking pan and press the dough evenly across the bottom.
  • Step 4: Pre-bake the crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Step 5: Spread pizza sauce over the crust, then sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Add sausage, bell peppers, and onions.
  • Step 6: Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Step 7: Garnish with fresh basil and enjoy!
