This Chicken Parmesan Ravioli Bake is SO EASY! Tender ravioli layered with shredded chicken, marinara, and melty cheese for a cozy, crowd-pleasing Italian dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz chicken ravioli fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups marinara sauce your favorite jarred or homemade
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken meat rotisserie chicken works great
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese whole milk mozzarella melts best
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for sautéing and adding richness
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  • Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease your baking dish with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Cook the Ravioli

  • Boil the chicken ravioli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 3: Combine Chicken and Seasonings

  • In a mixing bowl, toss the cooked shredded chicken with garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper to infuse the flavors.

Step 4: Assemble the Bake

  • In your baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce. Sprinkle half of the seasoned shredded chicken evenly on top, followed by half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Repeat the layers: marinara sauce, ravioli, chicken, and cheeses until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.

Step 5: Bake Until Bubbling

  • Drizzle olive oil over the top, then bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbly.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
