Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breasts
  • 5.3 ounces garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese (1 package)
  • 1 cup freshly shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This step is crucial for ensuring that your Chicken Roll Ups cook evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the thinly sliced chicken breasts.
  • Take the package of Boursin cheese and spread an even layer over each seasoned chicken slice. Make sure to cover the entire surface to maximize flavor.
  • Sprinkle freshly shredded mozzarella cheese over the Boursin cheese layer. This will add a melty, gooey texture to each roll-up.
  • Starting from one end, carefully roll each chicken slice tightly. Secure the roll with a toothpick if necessary to ensure they stay together during baking.
  • Lightly spray your baking dish with cooking spray and place the rolled chicken seam-side down in the dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the Chicken Roll Ups from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. This helps the cheese set slightly. Serve warm with your favorite sides or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
