Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas 10 inches
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whole wheat tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the lean ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  • Once the turkey is cooked, stir in the cumin, chili powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Mix well to ensure the turkey is coated evenly with spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.
  • On a clean surface, lay out one tortilla. Spread about 2 tablespoons of sour cream in the center of the tortilla. Add a layer of the seasoned turkey, followed by a handful of crushed tortilla chips, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, and a spoonful of salsa.
  • To fold your Crunchwrap, gently lift the edges of the tortilla and fold them toward the center, creating pleats as you go. Make sure to encase all the delicious fillings inside.
  • In the same skillet, place the folded Crunchwrap seam-side down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on medium heat until golden brown and crispy. Flip it carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
  • Once cooked, remove the Crunchwraps from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Cut in half and serve with additional salsa on the side for dipping. Enjoy your homemade Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme!
