In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Use a spatula to mix them together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Stir in the minced garlic, chopped green onion, Old Bay seasoning, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Fold in 3/4 cup of the freshly shredded cheddar cheese and the fresh jumbo lump crab meat gently, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
Add hot sauce to taste, mixing it in to give your dip a little kick. Remember, you can always add more, but you can’t take it out!
Transfer the crab dip to your serving dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese on top. Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve with sourdough bread, crackers, tortilla chips, and chopped cold veggies.
