Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Season the Chicken

  • Place the chicken tenders in a large bowl. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the tenders, then toss until they’re evenly coated.

Step 3: Mix the Cream Cheese and Ranch

  • In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing mix. Use a fork or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Assemble the Dish

  • Arrange the seasoned chicken tenders in a single layer in your prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese and ranch mixture evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the crumbled turkey bacon.

Step 5: Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C) and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle sliced green onions over the top. Serve hot with your favorite sides or a crisp salad.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Fork

Notes

  • Make sure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing and smoother sauce.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is fully cooked for safety and juiciness.
  • Cook turkey bacon separately for extra crispiness before adding to the dish.
  • Try swapping cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for different cheese flavors.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days; reheat in oven to maintain texture.
