Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese plus extra for topping
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 14 ounces can artichoke hearts well drained, excess liquid squeezed out and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach thawed, well drained and excess liquid squeezed out
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 each zest of one lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for your dip.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Use a spatula to mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the grated mozzarella and parmesan cheese, followed by the minced garlic. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the chopped artichoke hearts and thawed spinach, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  • If you’re feeling adventurous, sprinkle in a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne for a bit of heat. You can also add the lemon zest for a bright, fresh flavor.
  • Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread it out evenly with your spatula.
  • Sprinkle extra mozzarella and parmesan on top for that deliciously gooey, golden crust.
  • Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  • Once baked, allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh veggies.
