Ingredients

  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon roasted garlic paste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  • Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with garlic salt and coarsely ground black pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the softened cream cheese and roasted garlic paste. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and combined with the roasted garlic.
  • Next, add the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the luscious creamy sauce. Allow everything to simmer together for a few minutes.
  • Serve your Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken hot, garnished with fresh herbs like parsley or basil if desired.

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Spatula or wooden spoon

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F for perfect doneness.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
