Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1-1 1/2 lbs Chicken cutlets thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 slices Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 24 oz Marinara sauce
  • 12 oz Spaghetti cooked
  • Fresh basil chopped

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Chicken - Place chicken cutlets between plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 2: Set Up the Breading Station - In three shallow dishes, set up flour (seasoned), beaten eggs, and panko mixture.
  • Step 3: Bread the Chicken - Coat cutlets in flour, dip in eggs, then press into panko mixture.
  • Step 4: Fry the Chicken - Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet, add cutlets, and cook until golden brown.
  • Step 5: Add the Cheese - Transfer cutlets to baking dish, top with mozzarella and marinara sauce.
  • Step 6: Bake to Perfection - Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Step 7: Serve and Enjoy - Plate spaghetti, top with chicken and garnish with basil.
