  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water To create batter consistency

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized florets.
  • Step 2: Make the Batter. Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Gradually add water until smooth.
  • Step 3: Heat the Oil. Fill a pot or fryer with vegetable oil and heat to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 4: Coat and Fry the Cauliflower. Dip florets in batter and fry in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 5: Drain and Serve. Remove fried cauliflower with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain. Serve hot with dipping sauces.
