Ingredients

  • 1 baguette Baguette fresh
  • 3 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried herbs choose from dill, parsley, oregano, or rosemary

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and your choice of dried herbs. Stir until well combined.
  • Place the baguette slices on your baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, generously coat each slice with the olive oil mixture.
  • Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once baked, remove the crostini from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
