Ingredients

For the Pancakes:

  • 1 box Pillsbury Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour lightly packed
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • Pinch Salt
  • Optional Pillsbury Frosting for garnishing

Instructions

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Pillsbury Chocolate Cake Mix, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, and milk until smooth. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine!
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a bit of oil or cooking spray to ensure easy flipping.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Stack the pancakes on a plate and, if desired, top with a swirl of Pillsbury Frosting. You can also add fresh fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate chips for an extra treat!
