Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado to your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s up to you!
Squeeze the juice of half a lime over the mashed avocado. This not only adds flavor but also helps preserve the vibrant green color of the avocados.
If using, add the minced garlic and chipotles in adobo (or chili powder) to the avocado mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
