Ingredients

For the Guacamole:

  • 2 large Avocados ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice fresh
  • 1 clove Garlic minced or crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Chipotles in Adobo or chili powder
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro minced
  • to taste Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes optional garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps:

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado to your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s up to you!
  • Squeeze the juice of half a lime over the mashed avocado. This not only adds flavor but also helps preserve the vibrant green color of the avocados.
  • If using, add the minced garlic and chipotles in adobo (or chili powder) to the avocado mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Fold in the minced cilantro and kosher salt. Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. If you’re a cilantro lover, feel free to add more!
  • Transfer your Easy Guacamole to a serving bowl. If desired, garnish with additional chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes for a splash of color and freshness.
