Easy Meatless Baked Ziti Recipe

This Easy Meatless Baked Ziti is a cheesy, satisfying dish perfect for family dinners or potlucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ziti pasta
  • 2 count Eggs
  • 16 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Diced or shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 32 ounces Marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the ziti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Add 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of the Parmesan cheese to the ricotta mixture. Stir until evenly combined.
  • Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Next, layer half of the cooked ziti on top of the sauce. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ziti, followed by another cup of marinara sauce.
  • Add the remaining ziti, followed by the rest of the ricotta mixture and another cup of marinara sauce. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
