Ingredients

For the Roll Ups:

  • 1 package Flatout Original Flatbread 7 total
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 lbs strawberries thinly sliced
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Syrup for serving

Instructions

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, thinly sliced strawberries, and a tablespoon of granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the 5 eggs, milk, remaining sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended. This will be your dipping mixture.
  • Lay a piece of Flatout Original Flatbread on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese and strawberry filling across the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges. Carefully roll the flatbread tightly from one end to the other.
  • If desired, use toothpicks to secure the ends of the roll-ups to keep the filling from spilling out during cooking.
  • Place a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter to grease the surface. Allow the butter to melt and bubble.
  • Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating it evenly. Place the roll-up seam side down in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  • Once cooked, remove the roll-ups from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with syrup. Enjoy your delicious Flatbread French Toast Roll Ups or French Toast Pinwheels warm!
