Ingredients

For the Flatbread:

  • 1 package Krusteaz Flatbread Mix

For the Fillings:

  • 1 cup Cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese like cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Fresh lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Sliced olives
  • 1 cup Guacamole
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Salsa

Instructions

Directions:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Dough - Follow the instructions on the Krusteaz Flatbread Mix package. Combine the mix with water in a mixing bowl, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth.
  • Step 2: Let the Dough Rise - Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for about 30 minutes.
  • Step 3: Cook the Flatbreads - Divide the dough into equal portions, roll each into a circle, and cook in a skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Step 4: Prepare Your Fillings - Cook the protein in a skillet until browned. For vegetarian options, warm the beans in a separate pot.
  • Step 5: Assemble the Tacos - Layer your fillings on the flatbreads, starting with protein, cheese, and then toppings.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Serve immediately while warm, allowing everyone to customize their tacos.
