Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 8 slices thick bread

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and sugar until well combined.
  • Place a non-stick pan or griddle on medium heat and allow it to warm up. You can add a small pat of butter or drizzle of oil.
  • Dip the thick slices of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly. Allow excess batter to drip off.
  • Cook the bread slices for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip gently and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Transfer the Fluffy French Toast to a serving plate. Top with your favorite toppings such as fruits, whipped cream, or syrup.
