Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 12-oz refrigerated sour cream French onion dip
  • 1 3-oz French fried onions

Instructions

  • Start by preheating a large skillet over medium heat.
  • While the skillet heats up, season the chicken tenders with garlic salt and onion powder.
  • Add the seasoned chicken tenders to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Spread the refrigerated sour cream French onion dip evenly over the chicken tenders.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the dip-covered chicken.
  • Place the skillet under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions on top. Serve immediately.
