  • Honey or caramel sauce for drizzling
  • Chocolate fudge sauce for drizzling
  • Sweetened whipped cream
  • Cherries (fresh or maraschino), for topping

Instructions

Method:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ice Cream Balls - Scoop out the vanilla ice cream into balls, about 2 inches in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Return them to the freezer for at least 2 hours.
  • Step 2: Crush the Corn Flakes - Crush the corn flakes into smaller pieces using a resealable plastic bag and a rolling pin.
  • Step 3: Mix the Butter and Cinnamon - Melt the salted butter and stir in the ground cinnamon until well combined.
  • Step 4: Coat the Ice Cream Balls - Dip each ice cream ball into the butter mixture, then roll in the crushed corn flakes. Freeze for an additional hour.
  • Step 5: Heat the Oil - Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a frying pan or deep fryer.
  • Step 6: Fry the Ice Cream Balls - Fry the coated ice cream balls for about 10-15 seconds until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
