Ingredients

For the Frito Bars:

  • 1 bag Fritos 29.25 oz bag, classic
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Directions:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Baking Dish
    Begin by greasing a 9x13-inch baking dish with a little cooking spray or butter.
  • Step 2: Melt the Sugar and Corn Syrup
    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and light corn syrup. Stir continuously until dissolved and bubbling, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add Peanut Butter and Vanilla
    Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 4: Mix in the Fritos
    In a large mixing bowl, add the Fritos. Pour the peanut butter mixture over and gently fold them together.
  • Step 5: Add Chocolate Chips
    While warm, fold in the mini chocolate chips until combined.
  • Step 6: Transfer to Baking Dish
    Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly, pressing down firmly.
  • Step 7: Cool and Set
    Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for an hour.
  • Step 8: Cut and Serve
    Remove from the dish and cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
