Ingredients

  • 1 batch Greek yogurt dough base for the breadsticks
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese mozzarella or blend recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning for flavor enhancement

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, prepare Greek yogurt dough by mixing with self-rising flour until soft.
  • Step 3: Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick on a floured surface.
  • Step 4: Cut the rolled dough into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
  • Step 5: Melt butter and mix with minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
  • Step 6: Place cut strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with garlic butter mixture, then sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Step 7: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Step 8: Let cool slightly before serving warm with extra garlic butter for dipping.
