Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, crumble the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Stir frequently to break up any large chunks. Once cooked, drain any excess fat, then season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine and remove from heat.
  • Transfer the beef to a mixing bowl and allow it to cool slightly. Add the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese to the warm beef and stir until the cheese begins to melt and meld with the meat mixture.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Open the package of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into roughly a 4-inch circle on a clean surface using your hands or a rolling pin.
  • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit circle. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal tightly and form a ball. Place each sealed bomb seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped fresh parsley, and garlic salt. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of each biscuit ball to add flavor and help them brown beautifully in the oven.
  • Bake the Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Equipment

  • Medium skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Brush

Notes

  • Use a kitchen scale or measuring spoons to portion out the filling evenly for consistent sizes and baking.
  • Don’t overfill the biscuit dough to prevent bombs from bursting open while baking.
  • For a gooey center, add a small cube of cheese in the middle of the beef mixture before sealing the dough.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days; reheat in oven to keep crispy.
  • Freeze assembled bombs before baking for longer storage; bake from frozen adding a few extra minutes.
