Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 4 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 large bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons oil any neutral oil can be used
  • 2 1/4 cups milk unsweetened almond milk
  • 2-3 cups cream cheese frosting

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Grease your 9x13-inch baking pan with oil or line it with parchment paper.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the white whole wheat flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Step 4: In another bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  • Step 5: Add the oil and almond milk to the mashed bananas, and stir until well combined.
  • Step 6: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
  • Step 7: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 8: Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Step 9: Once cooled, frost with cream cheese frosting.
